Foodomina – Lead Composition and Audio Implementation

Joining the studio in May 2025, I have been composing original works to support upcoming content, working closely with the team to implement sound effects and music in engine. Supporting the new narrative content, characters, and settings while still preserving the original tone and impact of the existing music necessitated clear communication with the team, and detailed iteration.

This project has me using FMOD for audio implementation, and using GitHub for source control.

Broken Elbow – Composer

I have commenced composing for the upcoming feature film Broken Elbow. The OST is inspired largely from 70’s Melbourne ‘The Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band’, celebrating the energy and ingenuity of jug band and skiffle musics.

Broken Elbow is an independent feature-length dark comedy that follows Nelly and Daniel, as they attempt to hide a valuable tea set from the family of the deceased Nelly inherited it from. Whilst all this is happening, our two leads have to come to terms with and manage Nelly’s early onset dementia. As well as the aforementioned themes, it explores the weight of blood relations, and the consequences of not having a will.

The Unmistakable Taste of Your Own Flesh – Composition and Sound Design

I composed ~15 minutes of original music for the short horror film, The Unmistakable Taste of Your Own Flesh. This hybrid score features orchestral elements, distorted noise layers, ‘found sound’ percussion, and dissonant choirs to create a high impact, unsettling score.

Working closely with Nathan on iteration, this project was thoroughly rewarding, with the celebration of the Cast and Crew screening taking place in mid August, 2025.

Since then, I have maintained a relationship with my lecturer, and continued to provide music for multiple Capstone projects, with games ranging from cosy house-builders, quirky 3D platformers, and asymmetric co-op puzzlers.

Meeting and working with Callum was genuinely one of the highlights of Afterlight's production for me. His compositions elevated the project and set a creative benchmark that drove the team's ambition. This might seem like an exaggerated and sappy statement but it comes from a genuine place; I've praised his audio workmanship wherever relevant in the past. He has always been professional and flexible where it mattered and created magic with whatever insane requests we've asked of him. Callum is a rare talent I plan to collaborate with for future endeavours.

On Shimbir, I worked closely alongside Callum who worked as my sound mixer. Applying his knowledge and technical expert, the stereo and 5.1 mix designed by Callum was in line with what I imagined the soundscape to feel like. Creativity flowed through the process as Callum brought in interesting suggestions which took the original direction to a different level. Overall, I can not recommend Callum enough, his friendly and welcoming work ethic and openness to direction is unlike no other."

Working with Callum as a sound designer brought to my motion graphics project to a new level. He was able to create a sound track and SFX that suited the animation to perfection despite being given a very loose brief. Would highly recommend working with him."
